Thai Rice Soup with Pork ข้าวต้มหมู - Episode 40

This delicious recipe is light enough to be breakfast, and yet heavy enough to be lunch or dinner as well. It is truly a dish that can be enjoyed any time of the day. In Thailand, this dish is called Kao (Rice) Tom (Soup), and it is a very popular dish. You can find different versions of rice porridge all throughout Asia, but the Thai Kao Tom version is one of my favorites.

Rice soup is a great way to use up your extra ingredients, and a dish that is universal enough to localize to the ingredients found in your region. I have had versions of this dish with seafood, with curry, and even a vegetarian version that was herb heavy. So don't be shy, and don't feel like you have to stick to this "traditional" recipe. Create your own and share it with me on social media.
