Thai Fish Cakes ทอดมันปลา - Episode 91

Thai Fish Cakes make a great appetizer since they are fairly easy to make and they taste great. I used halibut for my fish cakes, but I recommend using your favorite fish for your own fish cakes. Fillet your fish, and even spend a little extra time ensuring there are no bones left in it. Fish Cakes are a diverse recipe, and you are really only limited by your own creativity in the kitchen. I use red curry paste (from my previous episode) in this fish cake recipe, but I have seen other fish cake recipes use mayonnaise, horseradish, and mustard. Again, there is no wrong way to make fish cakes, only a bunch of different right ways. Since fish cake recipes tend to be regional, you can find a wide range of styles to make. My fish cake recipe is "Thai inspired" so you will find ingredients like kaffir lime, curry, and basil in it. I hope you enjoy these fish cakes.
