Pineapple Curry with Shrimp แกงสับประรดกุ้ง - Episode 67


Pineapple Curry with Shrimp is an all around great dish. The curry is very mild, and the flavors of the pineapple and shrimp really enhance this dish. The pineapple is meant to be the true hero of this dish, and I would recommend that you use fresh pineapple instead of canned pineapple. Back in Episode 32, I made a Red Curry and Shrimp recipe that was thick and delicious with strong and bold curry flavors. But this curry recipe is not thick, it is thin like a soup. It is also delicious, and it's typically eaten with rice, or sometime even with rice noodles. The contrast between the curry dish in Episode 32 and this curry dish are great examples of how diverse curry is, and how it can be made to be strong and bold or mild and smooth. Pineapple Curry with Shrimp is really easy to make, and it can easily be a weekday dish or a weekend dish.
