Asian Style Beef Meatballs ลูกชิ้น(เนื้อ) - Episode 48

Asian style meatballs are typically found in soups such as Vietnamese Pho Soup or Thai Boat Noodle Soup. If you have had these dishes, then you probably know that Asian meatballs are different than Western meatballs. Asian style meatballs differ from Western style meatballs in a couple of very significant ways. First. Asian style meatballs typically puree the meat instead of just ground it. Second, the other ingredients used in Asian style meatballs are Asian ingredients such as soy sauce, sesame oil, and fish sauce. While most Western style meatballs use ingredients like Worcestershire sauce, parsley leaves, and even parmesan cheese. Another very popular way to eat Asian style meatballs as a stand alone dish is to dip them in a sweet chili or your favorite teriyaki sauce and then slowly grill them on an open fire.

As with all recipes, there is always something that can be done to change things up. This is a beef meatball recipe, but it is common to find this same recipe made with pork, chicken, or even fish instead of beef. Whatever your meat choice is, these meatballs will be sure to make a great addition to your meal.
